As I recently had to implement form validation into the application I’m currently developing, I had a look around to see if there were any ‘pret a manger’ (ready to eat) libraries available which might make my life easier.
I found several blogs and forums suggesting that qForms – a JavaScript library dedicated to form validation by Dan Switzer – might fit the bill.
So I grabbed a copy and proceeded to investigate.
What I found was quite a revelation – a simple, yet powerful, ready-to-go library which did everything I needed and much more. In a few hours I’d downloaded the code, read the documentation, experimented with it and implemented all the form validation across the entire application, about a dozen forms in all.
